Brian and Raelene
Gervinski - May
16, 2009
Brian
and I dated for over
5 years so when we
got engaged in March
of 2008, we both
knew we needed to
find a large,
affordable, nice
reception area for
all our friends and
family to come
celebrate our
wedding day! When
Brian and I walked
into the Holiday Inn
for our first
meeting with
Marybeth, we saw a
Welcome & Congrats Raelene and Brian
sign posted in the
entryway.
We booked our
wedding reception at
the Holiday Inn West
that very day!
Being a very
organized and
detailed person and
bride, the Holiday
Inn provided a
helpful guide of
when payments were
due, when to
schedule meetings,
review the food
menu, and drop off
the wedding
reception items. The
Wedding specialists
went over and beyond
what I expected. The
service was superb
during the months of
wedding planning and
all the way up to
the wedding day! The
Holiday Inn made
accommodations for
our large group of
out of town guests;
over 230 people
attended the wedding
reception.
Brian and I wanted
to have a fun,
Pittsburgh themed
wedding with black
and gold linens,
centerpieces, and
favors; The Holiday
Inn did just that!
Everyone had a GREAT
TIME! Stephanie, our
maitre de for the
evening, was
EXCELLENT! Just try
to imagine the two
families she had to
deal with…. one
family is Polish and
one family is
German/Italian , but
when she walked us
to our room that
night she still had
a huge smile on her
face.
Now that our wedding
day, May 16, 2009,
has come and gone, I
think back to our
wedding day and
there is not one
thing I regret or
would like to do
better.
The entire wedding
weekend was so much
fun!
We would like to
thank Marybeth,
Dana, Lori,
Stephanie, the Chef
from Portage, PA and
all the other staff
that helped our
wedding day be
memorable! |
